about
ME
I'm a UX/UI and product designer with over 20 years of experience making websites and apps that are easy and enjoyable to use. I've worked across healthcare, tech, retail, and education for names like MedRisk, Penn Medicine, Lockheed Martin, ETS, Princeton, Chanel, and Sony. I like owning the full process, from user research and information architecture to prototyping, testing, and developer handoff, and I've built design systems and component libraries that keep teams consistent and fast.
What sets my process apart these days is how I use AI. Tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and UXPilot help me speed
up prototyping, UX copywriting, research synthesis, and ideation without cutting corners on quality. I care about accessible
design that works for everyone, I let research and real data guide my decisions, and I love the people side of the work,
mentoring designers and turning business goals into products people actually enjoy using.

For me, photography is about telling a story in a single frame. It goes back to my film school days at Camera Obscura, where I learned to build a narrative over a whole movie, then became fascinated by doing the same in just one shot. I'm drawn to a moment, a feeling, a flash of vulnerability, leaving space for the viewer to fill in the "before and after." I use color, mood, and depth of field to lift a subject out of its background and quietly shift what the scene is really about.
I've always had a soft spot for the old and the decayed, and more recently street photography, catching people in that
split second when something honest slips through. My work has shown in Philadelphia, New York, and Miami. But wherever
I am, on a city street or a local hike, I'm just looking for the uniqueness in ordinary things, because in the end it's the eye
behind the lens that matters, not the equipment.
